The Maize Genome Project: Genome Browser and Annotation Pipeline for the NSF-funded Sequencing Effort

The Maize Genome Project Summary

The Maize Genome Project is a three-year multi-institutional collaboration funded jointly by the NSF, USDA, and DOE to: (1) Sequence the genespace of Zea mays ssp. mays using the public B73 line to a finished quality. The sequence is based on BAC sequences derived from the maize physical FPC map. (2) Provide annotation and visualizaton of the seqeunced maize genomic data
